There are 4 Fire Stations in Town, all under the operation of the Board of Fire Engineers.
Millbury Fire Department proudly protects 13,000 people living in an area of 15 square miles. We operate out of 4 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid on-call status.
- Millbury Fire consists of 1 Chief, 1 Deputy Chief, 3 Assistant Chiefs, 4 Captains, 7 Lieutenants, and 42 Firefighters.
- We have 4 pumpers, 1-3000 gal. tanker, 1-95' tower, a heavy rescue, a large diameter hose reel truck, a 4x4 forestry unit, and a fire alarm bucket truck.
- Our special equipment consists of 2 sets of Hurst JAWS, a Cairns helmet, 3-Cairns VIPERS, 5 eclipse thermal imagers, and 2 AEDs.
