Millbury Fire Department proudly protects 13,000 people living in an area of 15 square miles. We operate out of 4 stations, all under the operation of the Board of Fire Engineers, that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public call department whose members are on a paid on-call status. We provide Firefighting, Hazardous Material Response, Vehicle Rescue (Extrication), and Search & Rescue.

  • Millbury Fire consists of 1 Chief, 1 Deputy Chief, 3 Assistant Chiefs, 4 Captains, 7 Lieutenants, and 42 Firefighters.
  • We have 4 pumpers, 1-3000 gal. tanker, 1-95' tower, a heavy rescue, a large diameter hose reel truck, a 4x4 forestry unit, and a fire alarm bucket truck.
  • Our special equipment consists of 2 sets of Hurst JAWS, a Cairns helmet, 3-Cairns VIPERS, 5 eclipse thermal imagers, and 2 AEDs.
