• Updates from each of the committees:
o Finance/Fundraising: June 3rd meeting, promotional items,
o Media: press release, donation cans, website
o Events: committee, meetings
o History: committee, meetings
VI – Old Business:
• Discussion on best uses for seed money ($5000.)
• Determining guidelines for committee meetings.
• Discuss a suggested timeline for the MBC
VII – New Business:
• Fundraising: Discuss the creation of a four year (three year) fundraising package for commercial interests, as well as tiered levels of contributions from organizations, businesses, and individuals
• Media: Discuss a media package at various stages of our four year commitment.
• Events: Discuss outreach regarding inviting various people to step forward for each event, with particular attention to chairpersons for events. Investigate the needs for large events such as a parade.
• History: Discuss needs for the pictoral book with Chris Sinacola (i.e. advertising for pictures, scanning dates, etc.) Also, connecting with schools, discuss what we need and want from teachers and students.
• Discuss organizations that have contacted us about events, banners, etc.
