Millbury Cultural Council is pleased to announce two scholarship award programs to the Worcester Art Musuem’s summer workshops.
The Millbury Cultural Council will be sponsoring two lotteries to Millbury resident children. One lottery applicant will be randomly chosen from the age group of 8-10 and another from the age group of 11-13 years of age. The two programs offered are Art in Motion for children 8-10 years of age and Computer Animation for children 11-13 years of age. These two programs will be offered at the Worcester Art Museum during the week of July 17 -21, 2017. The class is from 12:30 to 2:30pm. No transportation is provided.
During the Computer Animation workshop each student will learn the tricks of the trade to create full story boards and animated sequences on the computer at the state of the art Worcester Art museum computer lab.
The Art in Motion is a S.T.E.A.M inspired class where each student will design and construct their own working roller coaster using creative vision and engineering skills to bring their drawing to a three dimensional sculpture.
